About Us: Our Story
Our Founder's Backstory
Jad is the son of a Surgeon. Growing up, his dad would take him into the OR to observe procedures. Seeing the various challenges in healthcare made it difficult for Jad to picture a future career in the industry.
He decided to study Industrial Engineering, which focused on process improvement, systems engineering, quality, and waste elimination.
After graduation, he discovered (ironically) that these skills could bring vast improvement to healthcare. Contrary to his initial sentiment, Jad found a unique entry-point in the medical field working independently as a process improvement consultant for healthcare entities.
After some time, his parents learned more about Industrial Engineering in healthcare and asked Jad to assist them in branching off from a large health system and starting a small medical group.
This led to Jad co-founding Advanced Vascular Solutions, a specialist group in Sebastian, FL. During this time, Jad served as an administrator and learned the "in's-and-out's" of healthcare.
CareFlo's Founding
It became overwhelmingly apparent that process improvement was not only a good tool in healthcare, it's fundamentally needed. Therefore, CareFlo was founded to be an agent of change that would help overcome the many barriers the industry faces today.
CareFlo started as a general practice management consulting company but, after some experience and research, began developing a core product that is now the foundation of how it empowers its clinical partners. The product was created by synthesizing cutting-edge data analytic tools, management systems strategies, and healthcare acumen.
Our company has also stepped into the public sector by developing methods which equip government health systems to analyze and improve healthcare needs within communities.
By integrating our work into practices and public health systems alike, we believe we can have the positive impact we were founded to implement.
